Hardware Refresh

A hardware refresh is the planned replacement of aging business computers, monitors and peripherals with new equipment. AXE TECH sends field technicians to your site to unbox, set up, install and test the new devices, then collect the old ones. It is built for businesses on a refresh cycle and for MSPs who need hands on location.

FAQ

What do people ask about Hardware Refresh?

Do you supply the hardware?

Usually the client or MSP orders the equipment and ships it to the site or a staging location, and AXE TECH does the hands-on work. If you need a different arrangement, say so in your request and we will confirm what is possible.

Can the refresh happen after hours?

Yes, when the site allows it. Include the preferred window and any building rules in your request and we will confirm before assigning a technician.

What should we prepare before the visit?

A device list, the configuration or image to use, user names per desk, and site access instructions. A short runbook is enough.

What happens to the old equipment?

We tag, box and stage it for pickup or return and record the serial numbers. Data destruction follows your or your MSP's process.
